We'll have plenty of war for them. It may seem like a long while off, but consider that in about 3 weeks there will be kids born after 9-11 that are eligible to serve in the Legions.

If it came to my son serving or me, I would gladly take his place.

I may be broken... the difference is my son has opportunities that I never had growing up, and I want him to take them.

I would gladly be on the front line to keep my son and wife safe.

That is what most people don’t understand, I am willing to sacrifice everything for my son, and I was willing to do so before he was born.

I can’t say the same could be said for others here.

By the time your kid is of age is about the same time we should be fully understanding that the volunteer military has failed because of continuous war.

A leader leads, a commanding officer is an asshole.

Commanders are usually relatively disengaged. They have NCOs to do the asshole thing for them.

That look of subtle disappointment on the commander's continence means you are in for a tough time with the NCOs later.
