in other news, I tilled up the garden this weekend. Time to get planting soon.
Slacker. Mine is already tilled and 3/4 planted.
Might not matter though if we piss off China or Russia enough for the nukes to start flying...
I'm pretty far out from Cleveland... probably survivable here, until nuclear winter takes hold.
Our Frost Date isn't for a couple more weeks yet, but we have 5 trays of seedlings going in the garage already.
How far from Cleveland? What's the population density of the surrounding area and what is the political persuasion of the inhabitants. That's what determines your fate.
You want to be at least three days march from a major city. You definitely do not want to live in an area that is heavily democratic.

Liberalish, but depressed industrial area, and about an hour by car (on a good day). prevailing winds blow toward the city. Not worried about nukes, unless they miss badly.

If there is a food shortage, they are all going to "vote" to appropriate your food and other resources for the community. It's not a defensible area.

My basement is extremely defensible. I've got plans for looters.
Vice President Mike Pence will be back in Washington from his Pacific trip Tuesday, one day earlier than scheduled, it was announced Sunday night.
All 100 senators have been asked to the White House for the briefing by Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis, DNI Dan Coats and CJCS General Joseph Dunford.
Later tonight President Trump is having dinner with Senetor John McCain and Senator Lindsey Graham.

Yeah right... you realize the 100 days is a media made thing... and that all presidents hate it?
All presidents, which this one is different from, who actually, personally cares about twitter trolls and "pundits, those crazy pundits" saying bad things about him?
Yeah. It's a thing with him. Unless we're actually going to get 1) funding for the Wall, 2) tax reform, and 3) some kind of KW 2.0 this week. Oh, and the budget will totally pass with a big thumbs up and stuff.
JFk pointed out the 100 day thing is BS... in a more eloquent way... so I don't know about you, JFK and Trump share something in common, they both think the 100 day thing the press came out with is pure BS... One year is more realistic.
The 100 day thing happened during the great depression time... that's the only reason it existed, because in 100 days things needed to turn around.

Again, I know it's BS. you know it's BS. We also know that it's ridiculous to take online insults seriously.
We also know that you look like a fucking idiot, painting your house in gold trim.
We also know that you cannot speak like a drunk uncle in a speech.
Our president does not.
My point, is that he's getting truly desperate to do SOMETHING this week, and nobody on the fucking planet knows what's going to happen. It's a very dangerous time.
