The Pakis are always blatantly supporting terrorists. More than any other country.
What India did was as motivated as killing bin Laden.
Except Pakistan couldn't realistically do a damned thing to the United States.

India is fair game to them. Of course Pakistan is going to retaliate.

The United States does not carry out air strikes inside sovereign nations' air spaces unless we are reasonable certain there is fuck all those nations can do about it.

The UK has become a net exporter of jihadist terrorism in recent decades. Eventually they are going to be responsible for terror attacks on Americans. We are not going to just fly into UK and blow up one of those jihadi neighborhoods because the British would fucking retaliate.
Why did Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) send $100.000 to Mohammed Atta just before 9/11?
I am not defending those motherfuckers. I don't like them much at all.

I am just pointing out the obvious. If India wants to go to war, then they should just do that. They cannot attack inside Pakistani territory with impunity. Of course Pakistan is going to retaliate.

Pakistan keeps funding terrorists because people let them get away with it. It's too late for anybody to fuck with them over it now. This is what happens when you are led by weak politicians. This is the consequence of those ridiculous "red lines" they know they will do nothing about when crossed.

Subcontinent cock tease, these faghats are always skirmishing, but air land battle is tactical.

Things don't get to the strategic until they go to sea.

When there is a blockade and then somebody puts a torpedo under a keel.

That is where things could get thermonuclear.

Wouldn't worry too much about it tho, Southern Hemisphere, most of the fallout would be dumped on East Africa.

So there is no downside at all?

Strategic situation;

Pakistan is totally reliant on the sea lanes.

The Indian Navy is the arm of decision.

In the event of escalation, the Indians will effect a naval blockade to starve Pakistan without fighting it directly.

Then the fur is gonna fly.

But until the Indian Navy makes its move, no biggie, wait out, as per usual.

In terms of the balance of power in the littoral;

India has 14 SSK, 1 SSN, 1SSBN.

Pakistan has 5 SSK.

This is where the Indians have such an over match, that Pakistan would be forced to invoke its nuclear deterrent in the face of blockade.

India's population is rather concentrated, though.

If I were the Pakis and decided I had no choice, I would hit their largest cities and just invade. Eat the retaliation and fight the war.

If I had to pick between a world with Pakistan or a world with India - I would pick India. Shameful how you turn your back so quickly on a fellow commonwealth. :snooty:

India is by far and away the big dog here, Pakistan is overmatched in every spectrum, to include the thermonuclear.

Hence why they rely on state terrorist asymmetrical attacks, which is their only real lever.
