The only reason I'm being so hard on her is because I am young and arrogant though.

Sorry bud, ain't buying it. Like I said first go at this. I didn't fall for that lefty bullshit when I was in my 20s. I was raised to embrace the fuck out of freedom and liberty, to question guvment and to be self reliant. Trust in family and the creator. I'm not joking, and I'm not being a blowhard either. Just the way I see it.
Others were raised to despise the government, despise businessmen, despise patriotic rah-rah-rah jingoism and view flag-waving rednecks as useful tools for a racist regime. Which is why kids have to be given a chance to separate themselves from their circumstances and develop views and experiences as adults.
Then Lefties want 16 year olds to vote. I'm fine with 16 being the age of being an adult, for everything.
You're fine with 16 year olds voting? Well, you might feel differently when public school teachers hold the highly-impressionable swing vote for every race in the country.

Bare minimum, voting age should be raised to 35.

Everyone can be as hard as they want on her. I was just expressing why I'm not all wrapped-around-the-axel over a twenty-something congresswoman that is 1/435th of the House of Reps.

Plus . . . the media is obviously VERY interested in me being obsessed over everything she does, which tells me right off the bat that there's something shady going on here, and I probably shouldn't take the bait.

But everyone else - go ahead. Focus your attention and energy on her. Let me know how that works out.

They didn't elect themselves.
They were elected by a whole community of people who thought the judgment of a 28 y/o bartender was the best representation they could muster.
;)
Then it's our duty to point out to them what their vote actually elected.

Not really.
I'm for one age of legal adulthood. My suggested age is 17. I don't want multiple ages of when you are an adult. 15 for driving, 16 for voting, 17 for sexual consent, 18 for military and voting, 21 for drinking, 26 for healthcare...………………… those might not be dead on, but you get it. It most definitely should not be 40. Though people act like it.

I've spent little time on AOC during the last 4 months of hype and overreaction to her. This is the longest discussion I've had with her related to the topic. I agree, over focus on her is bad for lovers and haters of AOC.

If we just fix voting, we'll not have these AOC problems.

I don't care what the media wants. I didn't care at all about the stupid video of her dancing. That must have been planned out by Jussie Smollett given how obvious of a set up it was. I do care about when she does things like saying Brooklyn can use the tax dollars saved from the Amazon deal to spend on schools when that money does not exist. Or when she drafts a resolution that would result in spending 3 times the budget just on that.
