Sweden play the Czechs at 4, that should be fun. Finally get to see Sweden without need to stream it. Rasmus Dahlin and Filip Zadina against more formidable competition, what's not to like?

Standing by. Dahlin and Liljegren watch, in effect.

And then at 2100, muh Auston, homecoming game, hoping he puts on a show.

Back to back, McElhinney time. Uh-oh. He owes me a shame game after that debacle in Detroit.

He better be standing on his head, cause Sparks and Pickard are the best tandem in the AHL, chomping at the bit.

Another nice rush, rips the quick release wrister, on and off the stick. Not getting a ton of ice time, but he's looking good out there so far, with what he's being given to work with.

Timmeh!

Liljegren lowers the boom. The kid doesn't shy away from taking the body. Underrated two way game.

Important win. Good first period. Shaky second. Then Nylander closed it in the third. Thanks.
That was Sweden’s 42nd straight win in the group stages of the world juniors.

Sweden is loaded up, USA is loaded up, and big, Canada is really in tough here, gonna need Carter Hart to pull a Carey Price and be the MVP.
