You're starting to skate on fin ice now.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

If a bartender has to go to school for a solid decade and be licensed by the state for so much as serving a beer at a small birthday party then yes, I would expect a little due diligence.heydaralon wrote:I'm not saying its the doctors responsibility at all. But how exactly should a doctor get a manslaughter charge for prescribing drugs that people wanted and possibly gave him false information to obtain? Club, do you think a bartender should get a manslaughter charge for serving alcohol to a dude who gets in an accident or gets cirrhosis?clubgop wrote:Sorry, it is not a doctor's responsibility to support an addiction because the alternative might be worse. I understand the black market argument but that doesn't mean a gun dealer should avoid legal responsibility because they sell to gangbangers because the alternative might be worse.heydaralon wrote:
Agreed. Fuck off government. The drug war is quite repulsive on every level.
I read that heroin is five times more likely to kill you than pain pills. Where do you guys think these people are gonna go after their doctor gets locked up?
Why are conservatives quick to point out that a black market will exist if we repeal the second amendment (a point that is 100% valid and I am in complete agreement with), but pretend that this doesn't apply to drugs? Liberals are just as stupid when it comes to this stuff.
I don't think a cop should get a second of overtime for anything narcotics related.
You can violate every HIPPA law, allow every patient to continue to suffer, lock up every doctor, and shred the fourth amendment, and people will still get high.
That is ridiculous to me.
