That was Great, If I could get games like that and the original Battle of Britain I'd download them and play them today. Lot's of fun.
These guys collect all of the oldest games, once they leave the market.
Also, for old games that the makers simply won't let go of, there's GOG: https://www.gog.com/games?system=window ... asc&page=1

I'm sure it can be pared down to what you actually need in the place where you used to click things you actually needed but I see so much junk there I won't even fuck with it.

I just booted up an old laptop I had in a box. It's fourteen years old. Booted up just fine. Late-stage Windows XP. Better experience than Windows 10. Hands down.

I've been running an ASUS Windows 8 machine I bought at a Pawn Shop for 120 bucks, one of the best systems I've had.Speaker to Animals wrote:I just booted up an old laptop I had in a box. I still need a bit more processor speed and ram to run the machine learning projects. Plus, I am used to a Linux or Unix development environment. Windows just doesn't work for me. As far as the average user, I think would have been better to stick with the XP user experience and build from that. They really fucked up in straying from that watermark.
