Yeah, that isn't confusing at all.

What I don't understand is why it's not possible for Britian to maintain access to the European markets while rejecting the shengen agreement.

Never been in Schengen anyway.
That diagram is really helpful but limited by my ability to recognise all the flags.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I think we had a pretty sweet deal compared to most anyway. Most of the advantages without the Euro or Schengen is a better deal than most in that diagram.

I collect flags so I recognize most of them.

I forgot you weren't in the shengen. But it seems like the referendum was in a way on immigration.

Only for a few Nationalist bums like you. A lot of it was about the deprived North of England thinking they would be better off economically outside the Union, Not helped by Farage's transparent lies about £350m a week. Many left wing voters chose Brexit.
In fact it was a London / provinces divide much like your coastal / fly over divide.

The dynamic is very old like I've said. So explain the immigration issue for me it's not something I've looked very closely at. I know polllacks are like our Mexicans and you are adopting fully grown men that are supposed to be Syrian refugee children. I also know areas of London have been claimed by the caliphate but that's about all.

Where did you get that pearl of knowledge. Briebart or some such rag.

There are no areas of the UK which are no-go areas for the Police, under sharia law or claimed by the caliphate.
We have deprived areas full of people convinced it is the Poles coming over here and taking their jobs because they have it too comfy sitting in their council houses sponging off the state to get up before noon and take one of those low paid jobs. Left or Right wing doesn't matter if you are a lazy bum who would rather scapegoat some EU immigrant than get out from in front of the TV and actually work for a living.

We import shamefully low numbers of Syrian refugees compared to mainland Europe. Cameron was talking about 20k in the 5 year term he was expecting to get. 4k a year of heavily vetted Muslims fleeing from IS every year with most of the early arrivals being children from places like the Jungle before the sex traffickers get hold of them.

Personally don't care what age they are. If they are fleeing from "what's an Aleppo" and will do anything to escape with their families to somewhere they are safe from the evil fucks who call themselves Islamic State.
There are economic migrants mixed up with those desperate refugees but I don't see that as a valid reason to keep them all out till we've worked out what is going on like your man Hampster head. Being an Island far from the countries of Europe which suffer most from the large numbers of Refugees coming in has made it easier to restrict access for us but that does not stop the right wing tabloids printing clickbait for the likes of DSL.
