It was something you should have done when you were young rather than make excuses.
In hindsight, it is really weird to me that service is some crazy thing to do for ost of you. My whole family served. I am far from possessing the best character for military service, but fuck it, I did it because I wasn't going to college at the time, and that's what people do, right?
Wrong. Only a few percent do that, and most of them from the same families.
This guy died on his ninth combat deployment. Since his initial enlistment in 2003, he has only ever known war.
These men have families, and yet the electorate pays no mind to sending them to war for most of their son's and daughter's childhood. After nine fucking deployments, you are really testing probability.
This cannot last.
Which part? Getting my legs fixed? Trust me I tried, health insurance wouldn't cover it... I was "too young" and still am to them.
They removed part of the meniscus that was torn, but they didn't do anything else. I wanted them to do so, but they told me it should be fine. I believed them since they were the sports doctor from the NE Patriots and dealt with Gronk and others...
Except in my case, I tore it again this time on both legs so a double on one, and a single on another...
I wanted to get them repaired or fixed, but politics and medical don't agree with it.
If you mean me going into the military, tried at 18, and every few years, already explained why a while back, but once a black mark on the record, they won't look at you again. Now it's age... so, yeah. Not even sure National Guard would take me.
