What was his goal? Did he think he was going to get a long discussion with him on the subject right then and there? This was an attempted setup. This is all the Democrats have right now is trying to set things up so they can edit it to look like something else.

Re: Trump's SCOTUS
Tim had to do contortions to refute the obvious that the protesters were being paid cash to disrupt the proceedings, even if that cash amounted to just bail money.

What if Trump responds by withdrawing this guy's nomination, citing his concerns about allegations, and then submits somebody more like Scalia? Do the democrats invent another rape hoax?

There are those who thought that was the plan all along. Let the first choice get take the flack, withdraw them, and then put a woman like Amy Barrett up... Can't accuse her of rape and y'know we must #BelieveHer anyways, right? Plus she's a woman so she "can't" be sexist... And it'd be "balancing out" the "gender inequity" of the Supreme Court.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 6:55 pmWhat if Trump responds by withdrawing this guy's nomination, citing his concerns about allegations, and then submits somebody more like Scalia?
