This is not a left v right fight. That's the circus part. This is a have v have-nots fight. The have on either side (L/R) are creating wedge issues to ensure we ignore the real fight.

The middle is where most Americans are. The things that we have in common are far greater than not, but the haves on either side pretend the other, insignificant issues are the real problem. They are not.

Have v. Have-Not is an entirely Leftist paradigm, you have to be a Leftist to think in those terms, to be of the Right, is to define the struggle as Sovereignty of the Individual v. Sovereignty of the Collective, originally, the Individual was the King and the Collective was a Commune, in the contemporary, particularly American context, the Individual is the Citizen and the Collective is the Government.

I would actually assert, that most Americans are on the Right, because at the end of the day, whether you have or have not, is not the principle by which Americans determine right and wrong, but rather, how much liberty the individual citizen has from collective governance, is what determines right and wrong. In the American paradigm, more liberty for the individual is right, less liberty for the indivdual is wrong, and that is a wholly Rightist position.

Moreover, those on the Right would assert, that on the aggregate, more liberty for individuals leads to greater prosperity for the whole, and where if that is uneven, restricting liberty ostensibly to equalize, is in fact a fool's errand, which doesn't make anymore have for the have-nots in the end, and in fact, all attempts to equaize by collective force against the individual, rather makes things worse for them and all, by dragging everybody down to no good purpose.

Exactly. To the right, the have's are only the enemy if they are getting rich by stealing from others,especially if they use the government to do their thieving. If they are providing a valuable service and being properly compensated for it, then they are not the enemy. The have's can be on the side of the have not's, just as easily as they can be against them. This is not about the 99% vs. the 1%, that's leftist bullshit, the 1%'s interests don't all align against the 99%'s and neither do all the interests of the 99% align against the 1%'s, it's a false dichotomy that appeals to those who think wealth inequality is inherently bad.

Wealth inequality can exist for good reasons and bad reasons, it's a neutral term. Inequality in outcome is not necessarily a sign of inequality of opportunity, the latter is important the former not so much. Noblisse Oblige.

Zlaxer has a point. If OBL wasn't dead he would've released a video saying that he was alive just to spite the US (and this isn't a political thing either. They don't favor one party over the next, they just want to spite us and also to make us look dumb while at it). Plus, the fact that OBL hasn' released a video in a while and that his group has gotten a new leader is pretty much and indication that he is dead and that he was dead for like 4 years not 15.
