Not true, you can impeach a Supreme Court Justice just like you can the President, which means removing a justice would either be because they did something you cannot ignore, or for purely political reasons.

Being inadequately capable of doing your job by being ignorant of the facts I think would be a justification.

I think back many years ago, before Trump when we discussed the southern border and immigration. I argued against employers employing a 'quick check' system to determine citizenship status. The reason I argued against it was that is was bad to turn employers into law enforcement agents of the State.

Well, that's where we are. No one is questioning your neighbors voluntarily becoming enforcement agents of the State.
