I never said that it wasn't a catalyst, I said by itself COVID has never killed anyone. The COVID shot, I fully agree is sketchy AF.

And everyone with a functioning brain knows it. Even those that took the initial dosage, are now saying, Nah Bra, I'm good. No state has gotten to 50% booster shots. Vermont 45% at the top, New Hampshire at 9% on the bottom, average is about 30% nationwide.

Their power of persuasion is falling rapidly.

After what happened this Christmas and how the school board is going full authoritarian while using the Board of Health as an excuse for at least its COVID mandates I said fuck it...

One of the big box stores (Target) has a mandatory mask mandate, I didn't have my mask on me. I never carry one on me, because I never go to stores that demand masks.

Anyway, until last week this particular Target didn't demand masks, hence why I went in originally. Then a sign tucked into the corner of a window that was barely visible unless you were looking for it, said due to Omicron masks is required to enter the store. (And I wasn't looking for it)

So I went in oblivious to the sign and got my stuff while my wife wanted to go to the Starbucks in the store, unannounced to me my wife had a mask for my son and her, and they put them on as they waited at the Starbucks in the store.

So while I walked through the store I was getting stink eye, but no one (not even the store managers) came up to me and told me to wear a mask. I ignored the looks and got my stuff and my wife was still in line. I put the stuff in the carriage and she asked me "Where is my mask?"

I gave her a look and she knew full well I wasn't going to put on one. She shook her head and smiled and said always a rebel.

So I stood next to her and ordered everything without a mask on, got the rest of the stuff and left the store all without a mask.

I have a feeling, that if more people decide to stand up to this, there is going to be a time where the state realizes they aren't going to be able to force people to do what the state wants.
