Trump just fired up the Evangelicals. He might be a Catholic, but that means most likely pro-life as fuck.

I can feel an end to abortion in most states coming. This is awesome!

I need to find out if this guy is a rad trad and what circles he operates in. This actually could be huge.
He has East Coast Elitist Roots, Born in DC, Georgetown Prep(Jesuit School), Yale Law, his wife was the personal secretary of the George W Bush for 9 years. As far as I can tell Kavanaugh has never been outside Washington DC. He's an only child, so he's probably a spoiled brat, he was first hired by Elana Kagan.

He's a Swamp Creature.

We need a fife ruling here.

Good, bad, ugly?
Bad. At a minimum, disappointing.

Carlus just laid out his DC / Ivy bona fides. He is a pro-executive, pro-police, pro-NSA, pro-obamacare, pro-commerce-clause, liberal Catholic.

The Turtle is jizzing his pants.

Don't get me wrong, I am terrified of what kind of AIDS-infested Spirit-cooker that Hillary would be appointing. I'm just disappointed that we got the anti-Gorsuch.

Political expediency overrides campaign promises once again. What else is new?

As I said, this one was possibly put up to play against the Democrats. Will see how this plays in Congress.

I think trump picked a candidate to be defeated prior to November.

What’s her name from Alaska won’t vote for it.

Dead in the water but will prolly fork 3 D senators in the process.

According to aides close to the White House who spoke to Politico, in that meeting Kennedy recommended Trump pick Brett Kavanaugh, who had served as a former law clerk to Kennedy. While Trump was reportedly already interested in Kavanaugh before that discussion with Kennedy, the retiring jurist’s recommendation helped seal the deal.

Folks have theorized that Kennedy made a deal. I'll retire, but you hire one of my clerks.

Big time. He's alluded to finding an assault weapons ban unconstitutional.
