Parents have memorial services and funerals for babies that never made to delivery all the time. That was a completely ignorant, callous, and just basically shitty thing to say.

Parents have memorial services and funerals for babies that never made to delivery all the time. That was a completely ignorant, callous, and just basically shitty thing to say.

Some parents do, and I have no doubt that it's a painful experience. It wouldn't bother me much, to be honest, but I understand the feelings that some have about it.

My argument was simply to point out that our legal system, and general experience is not to treat a miscarried fetus as a fully-born person.

And sure, I accept that I'm an asshole.
