The Senate Intelligence Committee has reportedly turned down Michael Flynn's request for immunity from prosecution in exchange for being interviewed as part of their investigation into Russia's alleged hacking of the 2016 presidential election.

Mr Flynn's lawyer was told immunity was “wildly preliminary” and “not on the table” at this point, a senior congressional official told NBC. It does not necessarily rule out immunity at a later date, as the investigation is still being pursued.

President Donald Trump has supported the decision of his former national security adviser to seek immunity in exchange for his testimony in congressional probes of possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

This article was written at 5pm London time and as of 12pm central time (5 hours behind) there was nothing to suggest that Flynn had asked for immunity even though Rush claimed their were reports on fox saying there were and he had no clue where they were coming from.

Ah, I see what they are on about. It's a response to Mr. Kerner's letter published on the MSM and ostensibly given to the senate committee.

If you read it closely it's basically alluding to the fact Flynn would seek immunity but in order to do that an official process has to take place that has not happened.

I said at the time the letter was a mistake and the lawyer needs to be fired for fueling the MSM with a narrative. It appears like he's simply stating he refuses to talk and will pursue immunity and some unnamed senate source is like "lol no."

Because it's fake news. I told you the letter that your bullshit story is claiming to be a request for immunity says nothing about immunity. If you had actually read it you'd have seen it for yourself. It's something like 250 words, with one entire paragraph being a list of awards and medals from the Army. There is no reason at all why you can't put aside fifteen seconds to actually read it and decide for yourself what it says, but you'd rather take your conclusions from your fake news.

I could be wrong but Rush made it sound like a file of some sort has to be submitted. It could be as easy as writing a letter like that that alludes to the fact you feel as though you can't be bothered to talk about anything in the current political climate but boy, would you(!) have a story to tell if you could!!!1
