Re: Income Inequality
Just because I don't agree with other people's opposing views doesn't mean I can't tolerate or can't be friends with them. I mean I'm not that big of an asshole......I'm a pretty big asshole, just not that big. Lack of tolerance is saved for people on the extreme left and right. The Conservative wrote:Someone has the same views as me... wow... and you tolerate them? Pretty much, yeah. It won't be without growing pains, but here's to efficiency.Zlaxer wrote:http://m.scmp.com/news/china/society/ar ... out-200000

Re: Income Inequality
Productivity is good; increases the quality of life and/or reduces work hours. HOWEVER, need State-sponsored jobs for the displaced. Non-union, work for work's sake, interim (or forever) jobs. Infrastructure.
The problem is, The 1% who make all the money off increased productivity, want to keep all the gains for themselves. They think society works for them because they're so smart & industrious. I guarantee any of them could be replaced with someone else quite easily. Maybe even an unemployed person. Hell, I'll do it, any Special people think they're the only ones can do what they do, here I am.

No - the proles will be left to die, for they do not possess the means to revolt against the oligarchs......the same will happen here eventually as well.....nature has a way of reducing waste over time....power begets those who seek it, and those who seek it usually don't give a fuck about proles.

Fuck you and your efficiency... Too many people are going to loose jobs, and there aren't enough jobs to replace the ones that are being replaced with. Not at the same salary, or even level of qualifications.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Pretty much, yeah. That's progress, buddy. We don't pay a middle-class wage to elevator operators anymore, either. The Conservative wrote:Fuck you and your efficiency... The ideal of society is not to maintain job counts or employment. It's to move forward, even if it hurts.
