Article 88 Contempt
He made several comments showing comtempt for senior government personnel in his chain of command while representing himself as a Soldier. Also some of the stuff he just needs to be questioned on. Because it sounds like this guy want to subvert the government and military. So that brings in an entire other bunch of potential charges. Probably most serious is he talked about this stuff on open social media with other Soldiers that share his views. His acts could be seen as Sedition.

To me the most interesting part of this is not Rapone, it's what else is uncovered about this. A bunch of West Point Staff are getting visits from Investigators.

STATEMENT

RESPONSE TO SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS BY USMA GRADUATE — September 26, 2017

The U.S. Military Academy strives to develop leaders who internalize the academy’s motto of
Duty, Honor, Country, and who live the Army values. Second Lieutenant Rapone’s actions in no
way reflect the values of the U.S. Military Academy or the U.S. Army.

As figures of public trust, members of the military must exhibit exemplary conduct, and are
prohibited from engaging in certain expressions of political speech in uniform. Second
Lieutenant Rapone’s chain of command is aware of his actions and is looking into the matter.
Actions taken by an officer of the US military require a statement clarifying that said actions are in opposition to the values of the nation's military academy and the nation's army, and we're supposed to ask ourselves if that warrants a dishonorable discharge?

That's enemy subversion. Communism will win means capitalism will fall. It means the west will fall. It means America will fall. You need to get your head right. Lt. Lenin is calling for the destruction of the nation, and you're getting your panties in a wad over booting his ass with prejudice.

The Battle for Respect of the National Anthem is Over

President Trump Declared War on Political use of the National Anthem in the NFL on Friday, 6 days later the fight was over.
Thursday Night the Bears and the Packers played. All players stood, it appears all fans stood, the stadium was nearly silent. No political statements were made. For 2 minutes and 10 seconds 70,000 Americans stood together, all races, genders and creeds and listened to a song about the tenacity of Americans from long ago. To me it was powerful. Many won't see it that way.

The Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers have already announced they will be standing on Sunday, more teams will announce tomorrow and the next day.

The NFL backlash to the President was not without it's own merits, but it was a bad hill to die on. This is going to force the NFL to address some of its own issues, without using the National Anthem as a stage to do it. I have enjoyed the NFL for 45 years, I look forward to the season, granted not as much today as I had in the past, but I have enjoyed it, until Sunday. For me, it depends on how they react in the coming weeks and months on whether or not they get me back.

The NFL was hit with an rebellion from their base they were not ready for. Owners, NFL staff, and Team officials you need to take off your tailored suits, step out of your sky boxes and go watch a game with the fans. Because you don't know shit about your customers. You need to go buy a grill and a cooler and some beer and go to a tailgate, talk to people figure out who is buying what you are selling.

That's what I'm seeing. The NFL caved, and caved fast. Seems like the people over there had no fucking idea where they live. It's been said already, faggot leftists don't watch football. They look down on people who do. They aren't the customers the NFL serves.

The bleeding should continue. The retribution for this chapter needs to reach Roman levels. Going back to watching football because the NFL took the easy path should be off the table. I've got plenty of weekend chores to occupy my time. I'll let you know when I've had my appetite for abject humiliation sated.

First order of business, bye commissioner.

They are discounting tickets already. I'm down for some retribution too, leave a mark that they will remember. I have no plans to come back to them in the foreseeable future yet.

I think this one could end Goodell. I read an article about this Joe Lockhart character who is head of Public Relations and the VP of Communications. This guy must of been front and center in the decision making process of the NFL. But when you wiki him and look at his history, he's a big loser. That's one thing you always hear from NFL champions, surround yourself with winners. Well, the NFL should listen. This Lockhart guy has a trail of failure on his resume.
1980 worked on the Carter reelection campaign, lost big
1984 Press Sec of the Mondale Campaign, biggest loss in history and the famous tank photo
1988 Press Sec for Paul Simon campaign, lost early
1988 Press Sec for the Mondale Campaign, Loser
90s worked for a Saudi potentate during the BCCI scandal, lost all the capital in BCCI
1998 Press Coordinator for Bill Clinton during impeachment

Lockhart was hired in Feb of 2016 by the NFL. I know at that time it seemed like a sure bet to hire a Clintonista. Didn't turn out that way. I don't know Lockharts role in the initial Kaepernick protest. But I don't think he communicated or did very good PR on it. It's no so much Joe Lockhart, it's the many Lockharts the NFL probably has working in there offices and directing them. These guys are political appointments.

Officers are held to a much higher standard than we ever were. Or, they are supposed to be. Violating regs on dress code is one thing, but what he tweeted about Mattis is definitely grounds for dismissal.

Though, a better punishment would be for Mattis to order him to report to his office, and when the guy is standing there, Mattis takes off his coat and says "fight me".
