Get your own well and get old diesel engines that will run on anything. Or get fucked.

An alternative might be wood gas. It was popular here during the WWII oil shortage. It's not hard to convert a petrol engine to wood gas. The cc on this video is OK but they translate carbon monoxide to CO2.
