I actually wrote about this over 16 years ago now... I didn't think 1/2 of this would ever come to pass because I didn't think the American People would give up so much for so little return. If things keep going the way they are, we are going to see a major action of some sort happen around August/September... if we see it is going to be interesting.
Those in congress and those in the back pulling the strings I have a feeling will be named during the next election cycle if they don't step down before hand, and when they are, hell is going to break loose... and I don't mean figuratively.
My hopes are the Cucks will just toss in the towel and fade away.
I don't want to see what an attempt on Trump would look like with all the overreaction we have to tiny shit in this country. Both sides would go insane.
I do think the pressure is going to build on Paul Ryan a lot. And if he steps down, he will flip to Dem. I don't think it will happen soon, but could happen. Now that I think of it, what a way for the Establishment to block Trump. 3-4 RINOs flipped to Dem and threw the majority to the Dems ?

If I am right on this, it can go two ways. As you said, fade away through too many defeats, which would be the smartest thing for them to do.
Or the second thing, which would be disastrous for the US ultimately, they would double down and try to force Trump to step down. Trump wouldn't unless they have something so damning that he is forced to, but so far they have thrown everything at him and nothing has even come close to sticking.
What could happen, and this is key on California separating from the US, is that it is used as a base of operations for what would become the resistance or something of the sort. They would then be backed by those that are against the ideals and beliefs of the US. mainly those that have been or will be affected by the Trump plans, such as the wall, and "travel restrictions"...
This will become the new front if anything this will become the start of at worst case scenario the 2nd civil war. in where the US would be separated by not only culture but class. It would be ultimately a breakaway where the NE, and California as well smaller states would be against the greater population of the US.
These states would either become separate states from the US again or would be abandoned by those that feel the same way, and use the NE, and California as a base of operations against the rest of the country to get it back from, "A dictator such as Trump." Those who stand with him would reside in the "Land of Deplorables".
This would then separate our military to two sections, one for and one against... those that band with the NE and California would be backed also by those countries that were against Trump's plans and ideals from the beginning... this would mean Mexico, a good chunk of the middle east, and even countries like China would interfere with this on behalf of the "Anti-Trump" campaign.
Israel in this situation would be wiped off the map as well... the UN would be dragged into this, and would ultimately fail in doing anything. The UK and parts of Europe would be dragged into this, and we would go from a second civil war to a world war, in where conventional weapons would be utilized, until some countries start to lose badly, and decide that they have nothing else to loose and let loose their nuclear arsenal, destroying their own lands, but also any invading forces.
New lines would be drawn, and this war would be dragged out for well over a decade in where Trump could do two things, allow an election to happen, or because of war-time halt elections till things were "back to normal"... Things would then "come back to normal", but the taint of what happened, etc would change how we would ultimately see our Republic... the Constitution would be re-evaluated and we would ultimately have a new way of life...and not what we are accustomed to... which is scary on its own, on so many levels...
Again, worst case scenario... and I predicted a good chunk of what already happened 16 years ago... as something I never thought would happen because this country, I honestly didn't think would go so off kilter after 9/11, but it did... and we are where we are today... almost exactly where I predicted, except 30 years earlier than I expected.
