Made the mistake of visiting an old forum that turned into a far-left safe space. One person wrote that the kids deserved any hostility or violence against them simply because they wore MAGA hats. Said wearing that hat is identifying yourself as a Nazi and is the the same thing as wearing a swastika or a Klan hood. Another calls them future Nazis and school shooters.

Even CNN attempted to walk back their coverage this morning. This disgusting spectacle has the media coming out pretty badly.

If a group of people are your mortal enemies no matter what you try to say or do to change their motive and disposition, then at what point do you just accept war as inevitable and stop playing these games?

Too late. The damage has already been done, which at this point I assume the worst from our media and am convinced their initial deception was intentional. All the walking back and retractions will get a fraction of the attention the original lies did. A good portion of the population will leave with the impression that these kids are a bunch of racists.

Still don't see any headlines about the groups that was calling these kids all kinds of names. Where is the LGBTQLMNOP crowd being outraged at the use of the word faggot?

Between this and Buzzfeed this week, whatever hope I had left in our media to at least try and do the right thing in some cases has crashed to 0. US media is now 100% reality TV to me now.

Yeah, I gave up on them a few years back. The really sad realization is that it's always been like this. The myth of journalism protecting democracy and keeping the peace is pretty much opposite the truth. The press has always been like this.

That is lying propaganda straight from the mouthpiece of the UK government. That should tell you all you need to know about that nation's disposition towards our country.

They characterize racial epithets thrown at white high school students by accosting black racial supremacists as "shouting insults". They definitely don't want the racist label to come off the high school students, who were the only innocent party in this confrontation.

They give brief coverage of what the boy claimed happened, but offered no confirmation of that story, which one could easily do by looking at the full footage provided by the racist blacks themselves. But they don't provide that evidence or even mention that it exists.

They show edited video of the boy standing there smiling, but they never once mentioned or showed the fact that this crazy Indian marched up to the boys and began harassing them and was the actual aggressor here.

They repeat the lies made by the Indian and fail to mention that several of those lies have already been exposed, such as the boys surrounding and harassing him (the opposite was true) or that he is a Vietnam veteran (false).

The lying press I am used to and I expect this shit, but I think we need to take an accounting of what the UK government does and their true disposition towards the American people at this point. They have been involved in numerous propaganda operations targeting the American people since 2016.
