But not making any money off it, they have to pay China for the license, China is the one making the bank.

I would say that the Pakistanis best asset is that they retained the British military training system so their officers are particularly well trained. The problem is simply that India dwarfs them.

I thought Pakistan's army was a mess. In a lot of muslim countries, Islamist officers will get promoted to lieutenant but never to Colonel, because the govt doesn't want someone who is more concerned with fighting for Allah than their country. You can never fully trust a guy like that. In Pakistan, during the 70's, Zia Ul Haq promoted a lot of Islamists to high levels. Many of them are still generals, so they have their own agendas and are funding gods knows what. Pakistan already only has a tenuous grasp on many of the terrorist groups they created in their country like LeT and Haqqani network. The ISI is pretty ruthless, but it seems like they are a clusterfuck in many ways. Remember that Abdul Qadeer Khan shitshow? No way that guy was working on his own, even if that is what the govt claimed when they threw him under the bus for selling nuke tech. I've heard that a lot of those paki generals do business with whichever warlord they can, and run their shit however they want, like their own 7/11.

That's their secret to success, though. God bless them.heydaralon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:57 pmI thought Pakistan's army was a mess. Operationally they are British officers, whatever their ideology.
The Raj army broke into two armies. The Indian Army and the Pakistan Army.
They were both however originally designed and built by the British and both armies retained the blueprint.

I don't know if I hate Pakistan more than Saudi Arabia, but it is a photo finish. Bunch of backstabbing cock worshippers the lot of them. You can't really trust muslims to honor shit, as the last 2 decades of our foreign alliances have shown. Not that the CIA is some paragon of ethics lol. That being said, the CIA does destabilize nasty countries and gets rid of commies, so I kind of dig them, even if they make messes now and again.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 12:59 pmThat's their secret to success, though. Re: What's going on in India?
Pakistan is definitely more bad ass than the Saudis.
Pakistan can fight, Pakistan would fight, and they would probably make a good account of themselves.
The problem is simply, again, India dwarfs them by order of magnitude in all respects.
Pakistan simply cannot afford to keep up.
It's like Canada trying to match up against America, of course Pakistan is going broke in the effort.
Pakistan is the Canada of the Subcontinent, India is the America.
Pakistan was created in similarly to Canada.
A mass migration in the wake of a democratic revolution to overthrow the British Crown.
The Pakistanis fled like the United Empire Loyalists fleeing to Ontario.
