The only way that intperetation you guys were laughing about makes sense is if you imagine the word nobody referring to something in particular. It's like when new atheists get confused about the fact that the universe was preceded by nothing, and they go on to propose a nothing that is actually a something.

Nobody is equal to anybody means there exists no person who is equal to any other person.

To wit: the meaning of equality in the context of our social contract refers to the fact that all of us are equal before the law, not that we are all literally equal in all things.

YOU brought race into this. YOU assumed for everyone else that the only reason people like Sowell is because he's black. YOU are the source of the mention of racism, so YOU can handle that by yourself.

hint, you should have figured out by now that erroneously and randomly accusing your opponents of racism means you've already lost, which you had the minute you decided that your retort to Sowell would be that the only reason conservatives like the black guy is because they're racist against black guys.

If you think of 2 sets where Nobody=the null set, and Anybody=the set that contains any >=1 "body", then Nobody cannot equal Anybody.

Sowell meant something like: Nobody is equal to anybody else. At least that would be a more common way to say it (but still kinda weird). He supported Ted Cruz, though, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he was trying to create a math weapon.
