I just had a drink with a buddy who recently returned from Afghanistan. He's a Sergeant Major. They were getting rocket attacks almost daily on their FOB. They had troops and Spec Ops on the base, Air Assets at the ready, artillery sitting idle. The US military didn't do shit to attempt to retaliate against the attacks.

I don't mind wars with clear goals and fighting wars to win wars. But this shit is ridiculous.
