I conceive of the patriarchy as a competence hierarchy. Social power has an inner and outer circle. The outer circle is most politics, business, industry, research, defense, etc. That is all supposed to be a competence hierarchy.

Inner circle is all the soft power and everyday decisions made in homes, relationships, etc. It's harder to verbally qualify and illustrate, but it's actually the greater power. Women dominate that and have dominated it for all history.

I don't have too many qualms with women entering outer circle domains as long as they stop fucking with the competency hierarchy. It would be nice if they shared inner circle power too in order that it evens out.

You've laid out why the patriarchy must be destroyed: they're hoarding the good stuff for themselves regardless of female competency. Inner circle isn't power, it's a cage. Free us apand our society will be greater for it when the best are truly allowed to rise to the top.

This isn't gumption. Patriarchy is a competence-based hierarchy.

The problem we are facing now is women and minorities demanding places in the hierarchy without merit. That literally is what affirmative action means.

Meanwhile, women have surrendered none of their inner circle power. Women wield enormous influence over Western societies, and always have, through soft power.

If you go back even to the medieval period, women in court were who men had to lobby first in order to gain access to their lord husbands. Out in the fields, the men worked the lord's fields while women worked the fields for their families and other peasants. Who do you think made the important decisions for the everyday lives of most people?? Women.

You all still have that inner circle power and have zero intention of sharing it. Women control most household finances even though men in general make most of the money (because most women will only marry men who earn more, i.e. hypergamy). Women control most decisions about raising children. Do you really think those two powers alone are greater than the husband's limited power in his career?? Really??

You need to step back and get some perspective. Stop thinking of the sexes as oppressor/victim classes. Both sexes have their moments of both roles, and frankly most of the oppression these days comes from women via government weaponized by hate ideologies like feminism anyway.

The attack on The Patriarchy is all things associated with it: meritocracy is a dirty word. Ambition is out. Achievement, no. Success, huh-uh. When Trump talks about "winning," they go insane.
