Can't wait to tell Nerd I have a penis - we just need to look for it.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?

Okay Kathy Newman. Have fun with that. Never you mind your pretty little head with the demonstrable fact of plummeting female happiness as a result of free choices.

1. I'm not a man
2. I'm ridiculously happy with my life, my choices, my partner, my place of work, my home, my friends, my furry babies, the way I cook, the way Nerd & I balance being an adult and playing like kids.
3. Nothing you say is going to change that.
4. Quit making assumptions about billions of people you've never met, will never meet and can't possibly understand.

5. You cannot possibly process factual statistical data regarding all women as a group without making it about yourself individually.

Thank you for finally admitting it's only SOME women, not all. That took awhile. Helpful hint - not all men are happy. Some are downright miserable. But, not all of them.

Finally?

Kath, I have been talking about statistics and your evolutionary psychology here.

Women in general make extremely shitty decisions when given the freedom of choice. Fact.

Go back a page or two where I linked to one of the many articles about declining female happiness as a result of women's liberation.

The more choices women are given, the less happy women in general become.

Fact.

True fact:
By many objective measures the lives of women in the United States have improved over the past 35 years, yet we show that measures of subjective well-being indicate that women's happiness has declined both absolutely and relative to men. The paradox of women's declining relative well-being is found across various datasets, measures of subjective well-being, and is pervasive across demographic groups and industrialized countries. Relative declines in female happiness have eroded a gender gap in happiness in which women in the 1970s typically reported higher subjective well-being than did men. These declines have continued and a new gender gap is emerging -- one with higher subjective well-being for men.
