How many doctorates did you need to unravel that mystery?

It's ye olde "infrastructure!" story, shovel the money out the door with abandon, pigs to said trough with alacrity, put a little water in that wine to make a buck on the side, plus organized crime has to get its cut, right off the top.

This was a new design. The bridge was called a "one-of-a-kind engineering design.

Not so fast with that conclusion. See above. Maybe the "brilliant" designers made a mistake.

The engineering firm ordered the cables to be tightened. They were in the process of doing that when it collapsed.
Account abandoned.

Eh, it was probably only worthless toxic masculinity men that would die, not a big deal in today's culture, even better if it was only worthless white men. 8-)

The cognitive dissonance lies in the fact that some of you refuse to acknowledge that affirmative action necessarily leads to higher risk of these sorts of events. Whether or not that's what caused this collapse, or if it played a role, the fact remains that affirmative action awards responsibilities to people with lower qualifications.

Do you want a surgeon to operate on your heart who got his medical degree because he is a black transsexual or do you want the guy who scored top of his class in medical school?

Do you want a pilot who got a job because she is a woman, even though she didn't do so well in flight school, or would you rather have the man who met minimum standards?

Do you want soldiers who meet the minimum standards for men protecting your convoy or do you want soldiers who meet the minimum standards for women?

Would you rather have firefighters who meet the minimum standards for women, but lack the strength to actually drag your injured body out of a burning building, or would you just want to stick with firefighters who meet the standards for men, which includes the ability to carry an injured person to safety?

This isn't rocket science, guys, but I am pretty sure even rocket science will be infected with this toxic marxism before long.

Affirmative action, giving a person a job based on who they are, not their qualifications, that's social justice.

But corruption, giving a person a job based on who they are, not their qualifications, that needs to stop.

One might say it’s almost an economic inefficiency to hire based on demographics or corruption/nepotism.

Which means HM is probably decidedly for it, as there’s nothing that puts a smile on his face like inefficient economics.

I'll do you one better.

I'd rather unprofitable public works were designed and constructed by unprofitable public employees.

That being said, I hold the people who fucked up this project accountable for their fuck ups, not minorities or women, or even the gub'ment in general.

I know, it is a super hot take 'round these parts.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

"This bridge was about collaboration and was about hope and determination," said FIU president Marc Rosenberg.

Is that what a bridge is about?
