Has the guy ever made a political statement in his life? If being a celebrity was enough to get elected we'd have seen John Stewart or Stephen Colbert make a legitimate run, but just being a celebrity isn't enough.

He's wildly popular. That guy is probably the most-liked person in America right now. Seriously.
News to me if it's true. I haven't seen any signs around here that he's even really relevant. I'm not knocking him, but he's a non-entity from what I see.

Plus, doesn't matter how popular he is when he's never made a political statement in his life, once he runs as a democrat he's tarnished forever. There's no way to run for them and not be for shit the nation is rejecting like open borders, family dissolution, racism, bigger government, higher taxes, war with russia etc.

Mr. Rodgers couldn't win with that platform and he's way more popular than some wrestler.
He was at the Republican Convention in 2000 and spoke.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Great car for Barbie but if Ken had one you'd wonder...

There will be kids voting in 2020 who weren't alive in 2000.

About GOTV it was not a policy discussion by any means. It was more about good PR for his employer the WWE. Okee is correct he is popular precisely because he isn't political. As soon as he takes a position on political issues he pisses a bunch of movie goers off. Politics is now the third rail of entertainment success. As soon as you get political you sacrifice a portion of your potential audience to appeal a niche.

That's how I see it. The minute Dwayne comes out in favor of amnesty for murderous illegals, a central plank of the democratic party, his film and political glory days are over. Every democrat candidate going forward will be in favor of murderous illegals. They will be in favor of muslim terror. They will be in favor of disarming the populace so their wave of terror can proceed without interference.

That's the platform Dwayne will have to adopt, and it will end him, so he won't do it.

I don't know about that. A gifted politician can guild that lilly. But the Rock is not that politician. I am not sure any such politician exist on the Dem bench because they don't have one.

You mean a loud engaged minority, Inside industry bs would worry him but there are not that many hyperpoliticos who would care.
