I’ve never heard of a deer road before.
Is this something unique to Tennessee?
Or ... has road been redefined to mean “an area lightly defoliated by big mammals stomping through it”?

In the US, sure. In countries that see us as a problem, or that have lost respect for us, thanks to our political clown show... not the same story.TheReal_ND wrote:They have two currencies dummy. The yuan doesn’t need to replace the dollar. It just needs to be a viable alternative.
This is why prestige matters.

I paid for the commons, same as you bud. I don't hate roads, I love them. I absolutely have to have them to function, same as you.
However, your brain is stuck in its sad little cage, convinced that the only way to get to work or the grocery is because of the New Deal or Eisenhower.
Once you're at that stage, there's no slave relationship with your politicians that you won't have to accept at the end of the day.

Yes, animals can and do create desire paths. So do humans. What's your point? We should all just collectively create desire paths? Can we have them paved?

Pretty sure if the roads were all owned by libertarian merchant princes, I wouldn't be able to afford to go to Wallyworld just now to buy the next three day's worth of chicken. There would be tolls everywhere, and lots of people wouldn't be able to use the roads. Freedom.

Clearly Fife believes that if we simply wait long enough the deer will form spontaneous road crews and build human infrastructure.
Please send one of your first all-deer road crews to Seattle.

Thank Providence that the state has closed down Wallyworld and the other "merchant princes," what with their $200/lb chicken. Food is so important that only the state can provide it at the right price. In Soviet N.C., grocer work for you!Speaker to Animals wrote:Fife wrote:Not an argument.Speaker to Animals wrote:I am sure Fife hikes to work each day, careful to avoid statist sidewalks or even hiking trails.
