It's not conducive to western-style government at all.

This is how we do things. They are different. Separate from them and let them figure out how to do it on their own. They will build a technological civilization someday on their own if we just stop fucking with them. It will be different because they are different.

Ghana managed to get their shit together after independance. Africans are perfectly capable of self rule when they aren't fucked over by despotic warlords who hand the land to their soldier buddies in order to secure power for themselves.
Read up on the Bantu empire, they had a large successful trading system before Europeans turned up and stole their land and resources.

I'd like to point out Monte that your success story Ghana is often credited to Jerry Rawlings who absolutely was military. Yowerei Musevini of Uganda another arguable success story was also from the military. Also Paul Kagame, a brutal but fairly effective Tutsi leader of Rwanda is also ex military. Just food for thought. A case could be made that the only successful African countries atm (graded on a curve of course) are ruled by military dudes.

I'm sure there are as many failures as successes, Idi Amin for example. Point is Africans are not incapable of building successful countries without Europeans running things for them. Allowed to develop without interferance who knows what they could have been capable of.

They won't rapidly get better if we quit fucking with them. The price paid to rapidly (within a generation) advance your nation from one that is African level to fully westernized is paid in blood. You have to shoot the people who disagree with you.

Can you tell me what gene is linked to tribal behavior? I'd love to read the study you got that from. Surprisingly it is hard to find. When I google it I just find a bunch of KKK and Nazi nonsense. But clearly you're a rational thinker who wouldn't come to such a conclusion with mere theory and conjecture, I must just be having a hard time finding it.

You're correct. A peaceful transformation to a modern state will take at least a century, probably more.

With endemic corruption, sickness, and poverty it will be a very long time to "naturally" occur.

But again, if a strong man took over several resource rich African states and brutally instituted modernization, it could happen within a generation.... with many deaths. With a net positive if measured in a timeframe of 200 years.

However the international community would stop it... so it won't happen.

Slavery was a mistake and it's not like colonization wasn't good for them. Otherwise yes your statement is correct. And I am a white supremacist if you asked which race I prefer to be around sure.
