We have two de facto Ethno States in Canada, the Province of Quebec, and the Territory of Nunavut, and we have dozens of de jure Ethno States under the umbrella of the Assembly of First Nations, and it's never been a problem for me, vive le Deux Solitudes libre, Notwithstanding Clause in effect, God save the Queen.

When the Americans on this board think White Ethno State, they think of Neo-Nazi's rising up in Fly Over Country, they don't think to look to an actual example that already exists in North America, like Quebec.

Confederation could not withstand a Quebecois Ethno State under Res Publica within the existing framework? Oh yes it could, an Iroquois Six Nations of their very own, God save the Queen, vive le Quebec libre.

That being said, if they took Montreal with them, their Ethno State wouldn't last a generation. The Queen is protecting their Ethno State, but not from us, from the Americanized Montreal poison pill, it's not the Crown dragging them towards Americanization, the Crown would never go there, if they went to Res Publica, Ville de Montreal would rule the roost, not Ville du Quebec.
