Obviously, we need battleships. Somebody start an exploratory committee with a billion-dollar budget.

We must bombard the border towns with magnetic weaponry. Only then, will Freedom occur.Nukedog wrote:We got one right over here in Texas just collecting ghost turds and grease spots. All I'm saying is throw a rail gun on it and go to town on Mexico.

Do we get the guns and ships free with purchase of an ammo package?Okeefenokee wrote:Tomahawk missile, $1.87 million.
F-35B, $95 million.
Railgun slug, $25k.
Just post your fucking cat pics, numbnuts. You're done here.

Railgun, mach fucking seven.
767mph * 7 = 5369 mph. 100 miles/ 5369 mph = .0186 hours * 60 minutes * 60 seconds = 67.05 seconds
It can hit a target one hundred miles away in 67 seconds. Neither of those can even come close.
And in 67 seconds anything that can move can move a lot, so basically you need a missile that changes course in mid-flight. That's why heavy anti-aircraft artillery got to be outdated. What basically the real issue is just range, how much punch you can deliver and what is the economics and operability of the system. The Mach 7 isn't so important, what is important is range. The real question is that is it more efficient to have such a device that needs so much electricity or simply something conventional.Okeefenokee wrote:Speed of a tomahawk missile,
