At least they showed and stood to deliver, basic minimum requirement, it's like your whole "wrestling is best" thing; we would have broke that up, if all they're going to do is roll around on the ground grappling, "break it up", cause that ain't worth the price of admission, fights in my day, were kind of events, it was known beforehand who was going to fight who at the end of the day, there was a build up all day, fights had to happen afterschool, you couldn't fight inside the school, you couldn't really fight during school, the fighting hour was right after school.StCapps wrote:That's heavyweights for you.
It was fisticuffs and it was sporting, wot? Wasn't just one guy jumping another out of the blue, you had to call people out, and once you did, it wasn't for a wrastle in the grass, because that actually settles nothing. The whole point of a fight was to settle a beef, but it couldn't be settled, unless it was fisticuffs for the win, sporting, and in front of witnesses.
