MINNEAPOLIS - A jury on Wednesday convicted a Minnesota man of assault for opening fire and wounding five men demonstrating against the fatal shooting of a black man by Minneapolis police officers.

Allen Scarsella, 24, of Bloomington, was found guilty on all charges of assault and riot. Scarsella showed no emotion as the Hennepin County jury’s verdict was read.CBS Minnesota reports that the jury deliberated for seven hours.

Scarsella was accused of shooting and injuring the five African-American men at a Black Lives Matter protest after the police shooting death of Jamar Clark in 2015.

Scarsella and three other men, all wearing face masks, went into an encampment outside a police station in north Minneapolis to livestream Black Lives Matter protests that had closed down a city block. Scarsella, who has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, brought a .45-caliber handgun and fired at demonstrators in what his attorneys say was self-defense.

That's one guy committing a crime, not a riot caused by a thousand or more organized leftists, wearing uniform garb, carrying shields and weapons, and all bussed into the location on the dime of the republican party. Somebody trained these black bloc troops. Somebody paid to have them bussed into cities from all over the country. To even call this a riot is not accurate. It was a paramilitary attack on American citizens, organized by the democratic party, and allowed to happen by colluding government officials.

This violence we have seen perpetrated by the left is organized by the leadership of the democratic party. It is perpetrated by large numbers of leftists. Leftist mayors and police chiefs collude with the terrorists to stand down, in criminal violation of civil rights laws, so that the opponents of the democratic party will get beaten and possibly murdered. The leadership of the democratic party goes on television and calls for violence on the streets (Tim Cain). Leftist media blankets televisions with calls for violence. Former democratic administration officials continue to call for revolutions and bloody military coups. The rest of you do everything possible to ignore it, cover it up, obfuscate it, reassign blame to the victims, and otherwise do not give a flying fuck because you probably support it.

The movement Conservatives using the Republican Party, when they were out of power, or wanted more, used lies, distortions, attacks of all kinds to weaken both government, and the movement Liberals in the Democratic Party. Now that the neo-liberals and their tool, the Democratic Party are loosing power, they use similar tactics.

Neither party is actually liberal, or conservative, and focusing on the unthinking fanatics like the Teapartiers, or the the SJWs, is doing their work in undermining us, and enriching the elites. If you are an actual Conservative, Moderate, or Liberal, you do not have parties that represent you.

We all have parties masquerading as conservative, and liberal, pretending that they work for us. Maybe, just maybe we should work together using what we have in common, which is the same in most things?

I'm aware that college can be a leftist bubble. It's not some monolithic cult, or some kind of hive, however.

Not all colleges are the same, and it's expected in any halfway decent class with a good teacher to actually look at the subject, even (very) politely disagree or argue over it.
