If he works 300x harder than his employees, sure. He deserves 300x their wages. And if you believe that he did, I have an excellent bridge that you may find appealing.Okeefenokee wrote:

No, but apparently that power comes with executive promotion in a company, or popular election. At that time, it seems that I can just write my own checks.Okeefenokee wrote:you don't decide what someone else deserves. no one ever gave you that position.

ease off the gas there, commie cat.
you're going full bore socialist with all this, "you don't have the right to be rich," and, "you don't deserve that much money."

I was speaking in a moral sense, of course - you don't have the right to be rich at the expense of others working harder than you. Obviously, our current society gives that right, along with the right to keep it by force of arms, even against your own failed investments with it.Okeefenokee wrote:ease off the gas there, commie cat.

Very economically illiterate.GrumpyCatFace wrote:If he works 300x harder than his employees, sure. He deserves 300x their wages.
No one determines the value of something they want based upon the "effort" it took the producer to make it. In fact, such a system would make loses impossible.
My adversary in a current case is dumb as nails and puts in massive (like triple) hours to keep up. So I suppose he should be able to charge triple my rates, right?
Think of it as the Karl Marx theory of sex -- just cuz Karl put 2 hours into eating pussy and doing his best, doesn't mean she came.

Ok, next level up then. Do you suppose that an executive/CEO is 300x more effective in any way than his employees?apeman wrote:Very economically illiterate.GrumpyCatFace wrote:If he works 300x harder than his employees, sure. He deserves 300x their wages.

They need to have one of the shows where people switch places, except instead of the ceo coming down to the floor, the floor worker has to go up to the office and realize he is on no way capable of doing the ceo's job. that's the problem here. everyone thinks, "why does he get paid so much? i could do that."

They'd never make that show because the floor worker would do just fine.Okeefenokee wrote:They need to have one of the shows where people switch places, except instead of the ceo coming down to the floor, the floor worker has to go up to the office and realize he is on no way capable of doing the ceo's job. that's the problem here. everyone thinks, "why does he get paid so much? i could do that."
He might not be able to smooth talk and play golf as well, but the day to day decisions would be better from someone who actually does the production
