Inflation isn't about creating money per se.
Inflation is when you create money and nothing else...no farms, no factories, no distribution network, no nothing.

Inflation is when you bomb the fuck out of Germany in WW1, destroy its entire industrial base, and then print money.
Inflation is when you have a corrupt warlord take over Zimbabwe, kill the few productive people in the country, and then print money.

You don't get inflation when we have so much shit in the US that there is about the same square footage devoted to self-storage as to office space simply because we print half a year's GDP.

Fuck the usurers and money printers... You want to pay me in fake electronic money? Good, then I'll feed you with fake, electronic food from the Farmville app.

We should hang all of these bastards and use their flayed skin for canvases upon which to paint portraits of Trump and gold bars.
Still got my foreskin thanks for asking. - Montegriffo.

Trump cabinets positions have gone to now-former XOM and GS execs, no?

GS ALONE is responsible for 20% of the post-Trump advance in the DOW.

If you bought XOM upon the invasion of Iraq, you've pretty much tripled your money now. If you bought GS in the dip of 2008, you've pretty much quintupled it.

How's that fixed income treating yeas? Show me a bond which has quintupled your money in eight years.

If you bought GS in 2003, you benefited from the end of Glass-Steagal, QE, and the TARP. The Iraq war was probably a tiny fraction of those gains.
