My son, Heath, is having a 12 X 4 Party (12 fun runs every 4 hours) and he's using our house as homebase. He warned me that there might be some politics, I think asking me to be cool about it but I said, "I won't be chased out of my house: I'll do the chasing." We'll see how it goes: I've given you guys enough examples of my encounters that you know it's always the other side that escalates: I simply won't back down.

Nope, in this case, if you are factually correct about your position, then there would be no need to silence anyone as anyone with questions or worries would be able to get sufficient answers to their questions. The fact that they are trying so hard to silence any doubt just creates more doubt as it sows mistrust. If you feel the need to silence opposing views you either are hiding something or are an extremist.
