Capps: The month is coming to a close and I know you have already paid all your bills (rent, car, insurance, phone etc.). What do you have left? Can I have some of it? I'm not asking you for a lot of money here. I know you can afford it. When I started on this forum I didn't realize you were such a cheap bastard.

I only know it as Big Thicket from all the big foot stories that come out if it. I only spent like a year in Texas, and was mostly on Air Force bases with off base restrictions due to training.
It sounds like a cool place. All fresh water fishing is horrific to me, so I wouldn’t know either way.
The dot they placed on the map is near the Woodlands, basically a rich suburb of Houston now. Maybe close to Conroe or Huntsville. Those areas are toast in a collapse. If you drag it a bit further north near Texarkana, there is still some woods out there.

Working a fuck ton better than China is, you fucking moron.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:30 amGreat argument. Meanwhile we had community spread in California for God knows how long because our system would not test for it unless people paid $$$, and people were incurring thousands of dollars in medical bills who were tested for it. It did not exactly work.StCapps wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:28 amYou're a fucking clown.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:09 amOur country is actually probably on par with the third world nations in terms of a health care system that can actually handle this thing. It's a rapacious, fucking useless healthcare system. China's healthcare system was better prepared for this shit than us. At least in China poor people could actually show up and get seen by doctors in emergency rooms and urgent care clinics. We don't even have that.

It is not going to be a collapse. You just might want a plan to avoid getting rounded up in a FEMA camp of Houston gets a lock down order.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 9:40 amWell now I'm looking and it says it's near Beaumont. Maybe I can't read a fucking map. Swampy
It would bot be as bad as Katrina for you, but getting locked in the Astrodome like that.. fuck that shit. I would just camp iut in the woods by a clean stream for the duration.

These unknowns and distinctions are obviously important and hopefully will be more clear in a few weeks.
In other words, over 1 in 10 people that got rid of the virus got infected again. While this has not yet been confirmed or fully understood, it makes for a startling figure.

"Song Tie, deputy director of the Guangdong Center for Disease Control and Prevention, said to local media they are still trying to understand the phenomenon but preliminarily linked it to patients not being fully recovered from lung infections, which could explain the positive test of the virus. This might not mean that the patients did not get reinfected, but rather did not get rid of the virus completely in the first place.
In order to be released from a hospital in China, patients have to test negative twice in throat or nose swabs test, as well as having a scan that shows no lung lesions and reporting no clear symptoms as fever — based on the National Health Commission guidelines.
The cases with reinfection of coronavirus were detected on People’s Hospital Nº 8 in Guandong. A total of 13 discharged patients tested positive again but didn’t show renewed symptoms, according to Li Yueping, director of the intensive care unit at the hospital."
