Beginning at ~ 48:00, Judge Nap makes at least 3 important points in the face of the Bellamy saluters:

1. He profusely disagrees with Trump's use of the bully pulpit in this precise manner; and that Trump's rhetoric in the campaign about getting the federal gov't out of business and our lives now sounds like hollow bullshit;

2. Whatever happened to a liberal society's idea that "I disagree with what you are saying, but will defend to the death your right to say it;" and

3. Nothing is happening here that the free market cannot take care of, in totality.

Everyday the discussion of the NFL is about Social Justice rather than the play on the field is a loss for the NFL.
This is why it seems so strange that the smart guys at the NFL would let this creep in and then back it.

I Love Judge Nap, and I don't disagree with his points. Love his consistency.
I also am good with Trump calling them out from the Bully Pulpit. I know it seems a contradiction. To me, this is Trump raising awareness that Social Justice is going to take over our institutions if people don't stand up and stop it.

This has differences from the Government telling Chik-Fil-A what 1st Amendment Rights they were allowed to exercise. The NFL is a US sanctioned Monopoly that exists for the enjoyment of everyone. And it is highly subsidized by the State, Local and Federal Governments. The NFL receives subsidies that amount to Billions of dollars every year.

the NFL, its teams and its sponsors continue to benefit from a bonanza of tax-free loans, municipal bonds, rent waivers and property tax exemptions. Congress provided the league with an antitrust exemption that protects its monopoly broadcasting rights. Localities have raided "emergency" funds to help pay for stadium construction. And corporate benefactors write off their expenses for luxury boxes, tickets and naming-rights purchases.
