Wait.
Do you clowns acknowledge that it was his job to meet with that ambassador as a member of the Armed Services Committee, and every other member of that committee likely met with the same ambassador as part of their jobs? Yes or no.

Our senators should be above suspicion right? Nobody should be giving our elected officials a pass. Their business is my business.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions met twice last year with the top Russian diplomat in Washington whose interactions with President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Mike Flynn led to Flynn’s firing, according to the Justice Department.
Sessions did not mention either meeting during his confirmation hearings when he said he knew of no contacts between Trump surrogates and Russians.
Sessions met with Kislyak twice, in July on the sidelines of the Republican convention, and in September in his office when Sessions was a member of the Senate Armed Services committee. Sessions was an early Trump backer and regular surrogate for him as a candidate.

Well, it has been remarked that he doesn't have a strong recollection of what was said in those meetings prior to the election.Kath wrote:http://www.businessinsider.com/democrat ... cts-2017-3"I've been on the Armed Services Com for 10 years. How dumb is this guy?
Putting aside whether of not he committed perjury, he put himself in a position where he was asking for this trouble, with full knowledge that this would be something for the opposition to seize upon.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/na ... e7df906a9dThe Washington Post contacted all 26 members of the 2016 Senate Armed Services Committee to see whether any lawmakers besides Sessions met with Kislyak in 2016. Of the 20 lawmakers who responded, every senator, including Chairman John McCain (R-Ariz.), said they did not meet with the Russian ambassador last year. The other lawmakers on the panel did not respond as of Wednesday evening
