Went to the coffee machine at the Microsoft break room.
There were already two people waiting.
I was like "Holy shit, sorry guys. Didn't know there were already two here. With my arrival, I guess we're officially a group".
They both rolled their eyes, and slowly lifted their hands to their hearts.
"I pledge allegiance, to the flag, of the United States of America . . ."

Trump may have forced the NFL's hand. Trump knew the poll numbers on Flag Protests were 70% negative. Why not break this thing open, make protesters look stupid (which they are) and be the one on the high ground defending the Flag. It's a smart move.

Page one of this thing I called Trump a Floculation Agent, a substance that causes pollutants to settle out and be trapped. That's what Trump did here.
Smart move? Perhaps in pumping the base is, but how are "the pollutants" trapped? Looks like more that the floculation agent causes an increase in the size and scope of 'pollutants'.

It's actually from the Republican old playbook for a President to focus sometime on issues like respecting the flag or how big offence burning a flag is. Comes up occasionally with huge media attention. Just like, uh, Freedom Fries. Yet then it is something that nearly everybody sees as offensive, like trampling the flag, burning it Iran style.

Besides, if you are looking people to blame, why isn't anybody angry at Nate Boyer? After all, it's him that came up with a more respectful way to make a demonstration than sitting on the bench. And that's the thing that caught on.

And anyway Trump's whole tactic of keeping his base by not only attacking the left but also the Republican party isn't so smart unless he thinks that he doesn't any kind of capability to broaden his support and doesn't think he has to deliver anything (that the executive orders are enough). If so, then it might be logical. Yeah, just continue to demand over and over again an Obamacare-repeal makes Trump look as if he is persistent and the Republicans bad. I'm just wondering how long it will take the Republicans to see that Trump doesn't care a shit if they fail especially if he will look better.

I view pumping the base a minor part of this. This Social Justice stuff has been getting out of hand, not only in the NFL. As I said, the players were pushing for a full on SJW NFL. Trump knew most of America doesn't support that shit and he hit first.

Say it every week at my Rotary club to open the meeting. It's part of the routine.

You look like an insecure nation at risk of falling apart unless you salute a peice of cloth and get God to bless you at every possible opportunity.
Well, you guys started passing up opportunities to ask for God's blessings, and where are you now?
If you want to stay on top, you need a lot of that sweet, sweet grace of God.
We are still here, still have a national identity and we aren't all panicking about the demise of patriotism and those traitors who choose to show their respect for the nation on one knee. No one here is going on and on about the inevitable civil war heading our way.
Insecure and needy.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

It is lonely at the top, so you have to speak to God, your only equal, and self-affirm a lot more.

Memers, hey get on this. A picture of Kaepernick kneeling saying "this is why Trump won." Then a picture of Lesean McCoy stretching during the anthem saying. "this why Trump will win in 2020."

Not the way I see it. But it's a good a symbol as any.

By taking this on, Trump is basically just calling out Social Justice Warriors, and taking on companies that bend a knee to Social Justice Warriors, saying. You don't have to take a knee to these radicals. Average Americans are sick and tired of being told they are evil if they don't jump on the latest Social Justice program.

Maybe just append this image to all the images of the kneelers:

After a couple of those the kneelers will probably be like "Fuck that! I'm not having my picture paired up with that thing"

That's the thing, kneeling isn't disrespectful. In fact it is a way of showing your respect.
The SJW's on the right are screaming traitors at the top of their voices in an attempt to drown out the protests and avoid addressing the issue.
These protesters aren't turning their backs on the flag, they are facing it with hand on heart same as everyone else.
