Full forfeiture would have been draconian. They gave her a sternly worded letter, too.

This is the shit I have been railing against all these years. They didn't hold these women accountable for their own negligence. They went to the nearest men who are "responsible" for the bitches. That's how our system works now. Women's hypoagency demands that they not be held strictly responsible for themselves. A man is responsible somehow, which is our hyperagency (we are considered responsible for shit we ought not be held responsible for). So the captain gets destroyed, even though he wasn't involved at the time, and the women who actually did this have to forfeit half their pay for three months.

That's fucking unbelievable.

And the people who should most be outraged by it are women that actually do achieve great things and try to take responsibility for themselves, because that same system is going to deprive them of credit for their achievements, since they can't be responsible for anything on their own.

I can tell you from my own experience that, in the 90s, if a grown man caused a single aircraft to crash, killing aircrew, then he would be busting rocks for twenty years or more.

I am pretty sure that ship costs more than an F-15E and more people died in that collision than can fit in the two seats of the aircraft in my old squadron.

Is this soft punishment regime for everybody these days or reserved only for vaginas?

I know of USAF maintenance troops from my era that are literally busting rocks to this day for causing an aircraft accident. People are still being held accountable for similar negligence that was perpetrated more than twenty years ago. Ponder that shit.
