The constant stream of rape hoaxes leads me to disbelieve unsubstantiated allegations in the media by default. When that woman accused Roy Moore of trying to rape her in the 1970s, I came out right away disbelieving her on principle. People got angry. The assertion that I should believe women's allegations because they are women presupposes that I should disbelieve men's denials because they are men. That is sexism, Ooky. I can tell that's going to get a certain somebody upset, but I suggested a long time ago that she and other women ought to get upset and do something about all these rape hoaxes, and they scoffed. If somebody assaults you, do something about it with the appropriate authorities immediately. That's more opportunity than male victims typically get. Male victims can easily get charged for their own rape if they report it.
