It's absurd that a city council could vote 3-2 to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee, with just the mayor casting the deciding vote, one person can decide such an obviously and known to be contentious issue? It's no wonder there's unrest, deciding things like that, on issues like this, inherently leads to trouble, 3-2 vote is no mandate to decide something like that, that's a recipe for all heck breaking loose.

Just reading the comments of the Antifa supporters there, definitely not shedding any tears for them, they're taking an extremist position, if they are met in kind, that's not "boo-hoo-hoo", that's just getting what you give, they're clearly out to incite their ideological adversaries, if they are killed as a result, I don't actually view that as being tragic, they're all saying what Jedi said; "Vae Victis", as entitlement for they to incite as they please, which, you're calling people out for a war, if they show up for one and kill you for it, well, that's how that goes, not feeling any tears welling up about it, bet that.

Don't need Faith Goldy to tell me that the police are clearly complicit in allowing the rubric of "protest' as cover for what is quite clearly a bolshevist mob legislating from the streets by violent intimidation, which is why I uphold and defend the authority of the Queen's Peace, rather than allow things to degenerate into such disorder and chaos, up to and including the use of military force as necessary.

Her Majesty defends the right, to defend ourselves from a mob, without allowing them the spurious cover of "protest" to enable their lawless activities.
