Probably my biggest bitch about the Presidential campaign coverage from everyone was that they all missed opportunities to promote some of the truly great things he tossed out there. No more nation building, no more being global police, etc. I really ripped Dan hard on it when after Trump had won he does a reasoned analysis of the candidate.

To me Trump wants to take us back to 19th C American foreign policy which is lead by vigorous trade rather than our Intelligence agencies stirring up trouble and getting our POTUS to back up their mess with our military.

I dig that kid. Just watched that a few minutes ago. Have you seen the video where he confronts some people who threatened him? He gives them his address, then breaks out his pistol, hits the slide and dares them to follow through? That was some funny shit.

The part that I saw was the part where Trump says that the media is all fake news but the leaks are real- so it seems to me a bit of cognitive dissonance is going on here.

Overall, in my opinion, it didn't seem like a very elegant press conference, on Trump's part, at all.
