Yeah, "caliber" has lots of dictionary definitions. To you, there are many varied and subtle meanings that make sense. Soccer moms only use the term a blunt-force object to smash reason and conversation.
You're not a soccer mom though; even though you sometimes talk like one. :goteam: :drunk:
Frankly, I think a lot of soccer moms in America are actually total gun nuts, really more about which state those soccer moms are from.
Pretty sure those red state soccer moms are good to go, if they need to blow somebody's head clean off.

He apparently has not yet learned about murder bullets.
Maybe I'm oversharing, but "
murder bullets" gave me a LOL moment.
Back in the 90s, I was in on a primo 10 year duck hunting lease. We built an awesome blind (gas heat, gas stove, 2 bunks) and named it the
Murder Pit. But we were only talking murdering about birds, not our dogs or proper primate friends. Was that wrong?

Oh, you are right for sure, but there are distinctions to be made within the states. At the primary Casa de Fife, soccer moms are to be given the benefit of the doubt. At the Officio de Fife, soccer moms are to be considered state informants in all cases. At the Secure and Remote Casa de Fife, soccer moms are to considered foxhole buddies. That's all within a 80 or so mile radius.

It's like my aunt was born in Canada, raised in Southern California, and she is a Democrat, and was a soccer mom, but she's armed to the teeth, and she's a bit of a nutjob too, she's actually a prepper really, she's into the whole survivalist thing, even as a liberal.

A military trained man with 6 clip mags could have killed more apparently and somehow this means you should all be able to buy whatever weapons you want or else you are just ripping up the Constitution.

Fuck off acid wash limey.

We can discuss possible restrictions, but you haven't advanced towards a meaningful exchange of ideas, nor have you improved upon your overall ignorance of the subject matter.
Yeah cos without automatic weapons how are you expected to hit wild pigs from your helicopter.
Fuck off to reddit you ignorant puddle. More people get acid thrown in their face in your country than people get shot in Chicago. Fix your own dumpster fire of a country.

You want to craft laws based on the exact model of box cutter used by the 9/11 hijackers, or just ban box cutters from planes and lock the door?
No, but if you are calling for bans on automatic weapons, which already are banned in practice due to extreme regulation, and the guns used weren't even automatic weapons, then maybe you don't have much value to add to the discussion.
... for the seven hundredth time.

Also - the same holds true for poker. Idiots are unbeatable at a poker table, especially in numbers.
I've always supported an education system for this. When the 2nd Amendment was put into place, fathers taught their sons how to use guns correctly. Today, fuck it... that's not in the cards unless you are in a gang and want to learn how to shoot side shot.
Great. Now just convince the NRA that this is not the equivalent of chattel slavery, and we'll have an actual step toward progress.
such a dumbass lefty.
The NRA is recognized nationally as the gold standard for safe firearm training, developing millions of safe, ethical, responsible shooters and instructors. Whether you're a new gun owner in search of training, or an experienced marksman looking to support others, the NRA has a course for you.

Come on Vik, you can do better than that. Why would I be scared of guns. We have guns here on the farm. I have shot guns. Wanting to restrict certain kinds of weapons is not the same as being scared of all guns.
Sure trucks can be used to kill people, that's why security bollards are going up all over Europe. That's what responsible govts do after a massacre, they take measures to stop it happening again.
That makes you different than most the people screeching for gun control.
When an article is written by a guy saying he got PTSD from shooting a gun. When the breaking news is that a guy is shooting with an "AR-15 Shotgun" you quickly dismiss anything that follows as ignorance speaking.
If public safety is the issue than there is many more prevalent causes of death, murder just scares people. Illogical fear of guys carrying "high powered" "AR-15 Shotguns" loaded with "Nuclear Face Melting Rounds".
And you're right, responsible governments should address the issue of people ramming trucks into crowds, I think you and I disagree on how however.
Conversely, any conversation inevitably veers into accusation that we are all as stupid as the latest headline. We all have an absolute lack of knowledge on the subject, and therefore cannot be reasoned with.
like you haven't demonstrated world class ignorance every time this comes up.
