It is 7 USD right now. This tax will just keep raising it from there in steps.

... and the tax money won’t even run the heavily socialized state programs and industries Olin France, it’ll simply be converted to gold and handed to members of the Bildeberg group directly. We know because all of Marcon’s most adamant detractors and enemies agree.

Plus most countries have better public transport systems than you.
Internal combustion engines are so last century.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I cannot find a straight answer anywhere as to where this money goes. If that quote I saw earlier about it going to a general fund is accurate, then it really is a tax that is theft.

Article after article after article claims the tax is necessary to "ween French citizens off of fossil fuels". Aka, social engineering from the top down. Socialists love big government running their lives, unless they actually have to foot the bill at some point. Then it's suddenly a vast conspiracy by rich people to destroy "the worker".Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 1:35 pmI cannot find a straight answer anywhere as to where this money goes. You know, the same "workers" who demand more "economic equality" while simultaneously demanding raises.
Same things socialist always want - "Better wealth distribution, by which I specifically mean MORE FOR ME".‘‘Our demands are much bigger than this moratorium,’’ he added. ‘‘We want a better distribution of wealth, salary increases. It’s about the whole baguette, not just the crumbs.”

I really do think a lot societal angst is a combination of too much social media comparison/ imitation/envy + loss of values that have genuine meaning. The more people have tech wise the more potential leisure time and social comparison time and the more I'd imagine people would want to " protest". Except in the near future it will likely manifest in simply more tweets and other digital signaling rather than action by the protestor to effect change in their tangiable life.
