Not sure what to tell you, or what data would concince you.
Reduced corruption, sounds like effective sunshine to blow up the electorates ass now doesn't it? Worked for every POTUS ever, eventually delivering on it or not, that is irrelevant to their victory, and besides the point.

Also both were one term presidents, they had no staying power, so if their reset was so popular with the electorate then how come they bailed and didn't run again or lost to Jimmy Carter, lulz?

Makes me think that this "corruption reset" of yours doesn't win over the American electorate all that well once they are the incumbent, and it's just wishful thinking fantasy you've concocted in your head because you prefer it to the truth, you want to cling to the myth of honest politicians resetting corruption levels after a clown POTUS presidency instead.

I mean the pendulum swung hard against the GOP soon after this "corruption reset" of yours, hence FDR and The New Deal, and to lesser extent, Jimmy Carter knocking off Incumbent POTUS Ford.

In politics, honesty doesn't pay, even in the wake of a clown POTUS. The sooner you stop living in denial about that, the better. A clown POTUS might lead to future reform, but honesty has nothing to do with that reform, don't be silly.

Politicians telling lies to get elected is "All in the game".

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows, especially when it comes to politics, get used to it.

When good does triumph in politics, it's not because of honesty, it's because they blew better sunshine up the voters asses.
