We're getting there quickly.
There's a lot of hate between Americans right now, but there is also a massive opiate and obesity problem to keep the majority lying on the couch instead of fighting each other
No man's life, liberty, or property are safe while the legislature is in session
Why does everyone assume the alt right is about NatSoc? You guys seriously let the lone Nazi flag LARPer at Cville turn everything alt right into neo Nazi stuff like the media does?

Negative.
The Alt-Right are just a particular group of identitarians. They are not even necessarily "right" on a lot of issues either. What pulls them together is identity politics and a few intellectuals who lend the label some intellectual legitimacy. The alt-right are just a particular set of people advocating for the interests of whites in their respective countries.
Identitarianism is the new political paradigm, and guys like Spencer are just trying to get out in front in order to capitalize upon it and steer it in a direction they prefer.
I don't even particularly think the national socialists belong in that set to be frank. Greg Johnson and Vox Day had a pretty interesting debate on the topic:

Right wing hippies who have checked out because of identity politics are still right wing hippies bro. Fuck the establishment, maaan. The Alt-right are a right wing counterculture, the reason they claim to have checked out of the current political paradigm is the only real difference here between them and the left wing counterculture.

In our defense, you are probably the most Alt-adjacent person we speak to, and you have been dropping blood and soil memes and rocking the Swash for about a year.
Us normies are easily confused, so the post-modern transgression of hopping in and out of Reich-symbols at will is hard for us to keep up with.
HAIL!
Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

What gave you the impression they "checked out" of the political system? They just inflicted a huge impact on the previous election. They are quite active. More active than most other groups.

Actually TRS and the Dstormer people are at war with Vox for trying to co-opt the Altright term. Even though I just said it's not about NatSoc there are still NatSoc guys in the movement just not a lot. Greg and Vox would purge the NatSoc element like every other single person has tried from day one. It's become a kind of litmus test in a way. But everyone agrees that all the NatSoc imagery is no longer welcome at demonstrations at least. Even though it was only one guy with a swastika at Cville and he didn't even iron the folds out of the flag and is claimed to have been identified as a guy from the other side.

Spencer might inform on far-right terror groups. I don't know. But I don't doubt the guy's sincerity.
