The part you need to worry about are the people in power who are purposefully implementing polocies to increase the number of proles.....
Corporate America loves proles bc they can sell tax payer subsidized shit to them at huge profits....Corporate America believes that they will be able to keep the proles in line via overwhelming force.
*Edit - selling tax payer subsidized shit purchased with tax payer subsidized disposable income.....
It will be interesting to see what happens with the middle class has been fully cannibalized by the upper and lower classes.

I think we could do more to try and alleviate that.apeman wrote:What do you think vik?Viktorthepirate wrote:I agree. Shouldn't we be asking ourselves why we have so many resentful people with no stake in society?
i doubt we will ever do anything until there are mobs in the streets however.
Kinda like the Roman's "Brother's War" would have never happened if they had just done the reforms the war forced them to make in the first place.

My ideas to solve that problem:
Halt immigration except for only a very few highly-educated individuals for at least twenty years.
Back out of the globalist trade deals and make unique bilateral trade deals with individual nations in such a way that preserves our own economy, and prohibits the practice of offshoring jobs to produce goods and services that are then imported back into the US destined for US markets. That's not trade. Stop calling it trade, other than perhaps selling American prosperity to offload government debts.
Phase out the visa system except for only a few highly-skilled migrants that are uniquely gifted. All those people need to prepare to go home sometime over the course of the next few years.
Remove all illegal immigrants back to their home countries.
Get the government out of college tuition and collapse that market like the house of cards that it is.
Get the government into programs that encourage more people to enter into trades, as well as encourage businesses to stop using college degrees as entry requirements for jobs that don't really need college degrees. IT comes to mind. That's a trade. You shouldn't need a college degree to do that kind of work.

Bernie said he'd fix it with free college.
That's a lot simpler to understand than your long ass list of measures resulting in questionable ramifications and unknown fallout.
We like simple answers in this country.
Fix the world in two sentences or less.

Our social security system will collapse without immigration. We need to keep growing. American birth rate without immigration isn't high enough.Speaker to Animals wrote:My ideas to solve that problem:

Cut the military, more social spending. Particularly on health care.apeman wrote:What ideas to do you have? sincerely interestedViktorthepirate wrote:I think we could do more to try and alleviate that.apeman wrote:

More small business grants, though it would be difficult to avoid fraud...
Those are the broad strokes.

Well, that's not correct at all. You'd give a it a bit more life without immigration.

48% of the young socialists (nearly half) are unemployed, and a stratospherically high number of 61% still live with their parents.
Furthermore, the results found that 69% of the board’s users were uneducated, 46% (nearly half) support violent riots, and just 14% support the constitutional definition of unlimited free speech.
